I’d like to say first off that I have been looking for a quality OTF that would last and not cost $300. Boy I’m glad I found TAKCOM! Lifetime warranty, Ordered the Hornet. 4-5 days delivery, arrived super sharp in this tactical case with an extra set of hardware. I didn’t know what to expect with this, but what I got was a very smooth action w literally zero blade play, knife locks up tight, and the lines on the grind are perfect, I mean dead nuts on, with the double edge the 154cm all comes to a point , nothing is off, every grind and blade layout, absolutely perfect. It is truly a work of art, time was taken to make this knife, I noticed the button doesn’t rub on the outside of the casing like you would think it would eventually showing wear on the knife, but they thought of everything the button is raised just enough not to rub on the casing, there is also a small step on the recessed area that holds the button that keeps it from rubbing on the frame, this makes the action extremely smooth. The button has no friction and literally glides into place, spring is very firm and the blade is sent out with a commanding click, and you know it’s safe to use. Every little detail was thought of on the machined handle to fit to the components, very tight clearances and an excellent quality and workmanship went into this knife, I look forward to buying more from Shane and the Guys at TAKCOM. Customer service is excellent as well as I did have a couple questions, Shane responded quickly and has excellent customer service skills and was able to answer without hesitation. I plan all my OTF knives, will be from TAKCOM and look forward to the future and many years of service this knife will bring! Great job guys! Keep up the great work!!

Way better than any auto in this pricerange, even better than many much more expensive knives. The action is so satisfying and there is only the tiniest barely noticeable bit of bladeplay, like a ridiculously small amount. The ergos are good ( though the lanyard hole can become a hot spot if you sit at your desk firing it continuously for hours!). Easily my favorite auto I own.
